border design question

Hello

When i have 4 panels with borders next to each other , top and down borders are normal but the borders which intercepts with the other panels are thicker. ( this is normal because there are two borders there ) . Is it possible to somehow modify this so for example the panel 1,2,3 will not have right border and panel 2,3,4 will not have left border. ?
