problem with Persian number

I have problem with this code:

  date = persiandate.getDate(۱۳۸۹,۱,۳," / ")  

this code equal with this:

Code:

  date = persiandate.getDate(1389,1,3," / ")  

when I use from first code , my app don't work
my app don't know persian num
please help me , thanks
